The Cheetah features both an audible and visual warning system. The volume adjustable audible signal increases in speed the closer you are to a radar signal, while the LED display moves through green, amber and red as you approach the source. To avoid these signals being activated by electronic devices such as traffic lights or automatic doors, the Cheetah features a Low Sensitivity Mode for city and town centre driving. In Night Mode, the LED warnings are disabled.
